Genral Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

The GDPR, together with the new Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA 2018) came into force on 25th May 2018. The GDPR aims to ensure the privacy of personal data and places responsibilities on those who collect and process personal data to ensure they do so with lawfullness, fairness and transparency. At Acorn Psychology and Support Services we have always taken data protection seriously, and are also bound by professional codes of conduct that ensure we consider the purpose of the data we collect and the basis on which we do so. The following documents set out how we acheive this.

Please do not hesitate to contact us for further information or if you are in any way concerned about any data we may hold.
