My Job

I meet with teachers and parents/carers and work with children and young people, to find out what they are good at and what they sometimes may find difficult in school. I want to find out more about you by observing you and by asking you for your thoughts and opinions.

My job is called Specialist Teacher, but you can call me Ally.

What we might do together

When I come to meet you, I will introduce myself and I will tell you what we might do together. We may talk about what is important to you, what you like, what you do not like and what might help you. We might also play some games, drawings, activities, or do some questionnaires.

What happens if you don’t want to work with me

If you don’t want to meet me or do any work, you don’t have to. We will only meet if you want to and do as much as you are happy to.

If you have any questions, you can ask me or an adult in school.
